Accessible Information

The Accessible Information Standard started on 1 April 2016.  This applies to all NHS and adult social care organisations.  The Standard is a legal requirement which has been established to ensure that people who have a disability, impairment or sensory loss are issued information that they can access and understand and that they can also receive any communication support they need.

Please inform a member of staff if you have any communication support needs.  You need to help us make sure we get things right for you.  You can find more information about the Accessible Information Standard on the NHS England website.  www.england.nhs.uk/accessibleinfo
