Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update:

Due to the ever developing situation with COVID-19 we have had to change how we offer appointments.

All GP appointments will be changed to telephone appointments. Please do not attend the surgery, a clinician will call you on the day of your appointment. They will agree a plan with you for your ongoing care.

Nurse and HCA (blood tests, bp etc) will be screened before attendance to protect the health of other patients and staff. These patients will receive a phone call prior to their appointment.

Thank you for your understanding and we will continue to post regular updates.

GP Net Earnings

NHS England requires that the net earnings of doctors engaged in the practice is publicised, and the required disclosure is shown below.  However, it should be noted that the prescribed method for calculating earnings is potentially misleading because it takes no account of how much time doctors spend working in the practice, and should not be used to form any judgement about GP earnings, nor to make any comparison with any other practice.

All GP Practices are required to declare the mean earnings (eg average pay) for GPs working to deliver NHS services to patients at each practice.

The average earnings for GPs working in Neetside Surgery in the last financial year was 48,100 before tax and National Insurance.  This is for 1 full-time, 4 part-time GPs who worked in the practice for more than six months.
